“There ain’t NOBODY who can get the best of Tree! And if there’s any human at ATD who would have the audacity to walk away from a conversation with Tree without immense respect for her and (by extension) for our company, they just have a superiority complex.
But here’s where the humility comes in, because it reflects the fact that Tree doesn’t have a big head. She regards herself as a mortal human being along with the rest of us, even though we all know that she’s actually a mythical creature who is essentially invincible. :-)”
